The 1 bedroom gîte is set in the quiet hamlet of Baude about 5 min's from Fontenay-le-Comte overlooking 200 hectares of common land on the edge of the Marais Poitevin

Location
Near Montreuil, situated just a few minutes from Junction 8 on the A83 and the renaissance town of Fontenay le Comte on the Marais Poitevin Overlooking 200 hectares of unspoilt land in a quiet hamlet. The glorious long sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast are just 40 mins away as well as the delightful port of La Rochelle that boasts probably some of the best seafood restaurants around and steeped in local history.
this an ideal centre for cycling, walking, horse riding, fishing, bird watching, sailing, boating for families of all ages. There are a number of very high quality golf courses built to competition standard less than 1 hour away
